This Build:

- We designed and built this very stylish and practical office for a client in Loughton, in Essex.
- Completed at the of December 2020, this office makes the very best use of a narrow space at the end of a garden.
- The footprint occupied is 4m x 2.5m, and the design includes double French doors and casement windows to provide this garden room with lots of light.
- On warm days, the French doors open directly into the garden and on cold days, thick insulation and an electric radiator keep the room warm and cosy.
- The external finish includes lighting, Cedar Wood cladding and Saige composite decking.
- The internal floor is constructed from high-quality laminate.
- We also built a bespoke-computer desk for our client to complete their design.
- And as you’d expect, there is ample internal lighting and power sockets to ensure this is an efficient and convenient workspace.

Specification
Requiring zero maintenance, and with heavy-duty insulation, our buildings are fit for year-round use. Create a beautiful addition to your home as well as your garden and add value whenever you decide to move.
We offer a lifetime guarantee for their durability and because we use lightweight grade steel and we don’t always need a concrete base.
We use pre-fabricated steel framework rather than timber, as it is much more durable, and it lasts longer. 96% of the steel used in our designs is from recycled sources and is GS350 to GS550 grade; this grade is non-combustible with high resistance to corrosion and classed as “light steel”.
Planning
After our site survey is complete, our in-house designers will produce 3D colour images to show you how your building will look both inside and out.
You don’t need planning permission for these structures because our buildings are 2.5m high (maximum).
Our garden rooms are more cost-effective and speedier to build than extensions.
Delivery
We are based in Essex and therefore only operate within this county.

Installation
When we arrive at your home to start building, you’ll see that the components of your structure are already pre-made.
We build in sections using pre-engineered parts that have the holes for fixing bolts already cut-out of the steel structure.
From the design aspect, this way of building offers excellent flexibility. It allows us to create structures for individual plots, manufacturing the parts required on a bespoke basis.
This method of “pre-building” speeds-up on-site construction and that’s good for news for clients who don’t like the disruption that comes with most building projects.

Here at Evergreen Garden Rooms, we offer an initial no-obligation site survey to all new and potential clients. We can also offer a virtual site survey to suit you.
We will need to assess access points to your garden, the size of your garden and garden room, whether we can install ground screws or if you require a concrete base.
We also need an idea on what you would like to use your garden room for.
